Hiking trails, Marble & Valley views | Scenic loft

A truly amazing place, high above the bustle of the city below. A super clean and very inviting space. Located at the top of a switchback road, when you arrive you know you're in a special place. There are maybe 5 other houses in this quaint little hamlet with a view that leaves very little to want. Morning coffee with a commanding view of an ancient, but still active, marble quarry. Rome was built with marble from right here. You could spend hours looking at it. It's like an impressionist painting. Getting down to where all that stone is processed is an easy drive down the hill and quite fascinating. Silvio and his wife lindsie were fantastic hosts, very helpful, knowledgeable and very much into the home they are making there. It's easy to feel welcomed and comfortable here. They gave great advice as to what to see and do in brescia and particularly good advice about the local wines. All in all, it's a great place to stay. Thank you both nolan
