The accommodation
Semi-detached one-story house located on low cliffs above the Cala Calafat cove. Located in a glade of pine trees, the house is newly renovated and has all basic amenities. Tranquil residential zone with very few houses. Access to the beach in minutes by paths/steps. Beach ideal for children and the elderly because of low water depth in the small cove. If you don't mind hearing the waves gently lapping on the beach from your bedroom, this is the vacation house for you.
Setting
Located in a quiet, unspoiled area with very few houses. The Reus airport is just 20 mins away by car. The village Calafat is easily accessed by main roads and the house is located at the outskirts of the villiage, just where the land meets the sea. A supermarket is located a 5-minute walk away.
Activities and attractions
Two marinas within a 1 km radius of the house. Golf course 10 mins by car. Delta de l’Ebre national park 20 mins by car. Port Aventura amusement park 15 mins by car. Many beautiful coves and beaches within easy walking distance. There are many restaurants in the area that provide excellent value for money.

We stayed at césar’s house for a week and had a truly wonderful experience. The house is fully equipped, and if anything is missing, césar always finds a solution. For example, we asked about having a barbecue, and he immediately provided one without any problem. The location is unbeatable — literally just a few steps from the beach. Even during barcelona’s heatwave, with temperatures above 35°c, the house stayed fresh thanks to the sea breeze and the way it is built. A nice surprise was discovering that, although not mentioned in the listing, there is a bus that passes three times a day and goes to l’ametlla de mar (the nearest train station) and also to mercadona, the closest large supermarket. In addition, there are smaller shops nearby for daily needs. Calafat itself is beautiful, calm, and not overcrowded — the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the mediterranean. We highly recommend this place and would love to return!
