The accommodation

A pretty finca with easy access in the beautiful countryside. Beautifully restored it offers traditional accommodation with a modern twist.
There are two comfortable double rooms both with en suite shower rooms. Bedroom one has air conditioning. The sitting room has views over the countryside and full air conditioning. With a pellet burner for the cooler months. Also a large double sofa bed,
The modern, fully equipped kitchen has oven, hob and dishwasher.
Downstairs is the Hall/Dining room and a large utility room with washing machine.
Outside is the lovely terrace with seating and dining areas and views of La Maroma.
Step through to our pretty garden with the pool and sunbathing areas.
The Hot tub is on our lower terrace with views accross the valley. This is available all year.

Setting

Nestled in the foothills of the sierras almijara and tejeda. Just 1km from the pretty pueblo blanco of Archez, we are just off the road from the coast to Archez with a paved driveway.
In a lovely quiet siituation, but close to the Pueblos of Canillas de Albaida, Sayalong and the bustling Competa. (10 mins)

Activities and attractions

There are two excellent restaurants in Archez and just a short drive will bring you to Sayalonga, Canillas de Albaida and Competa who all offer lots of great food from tapas to fine dining.
If the beach is your thing, the coast at Algarrobo is just a 25 minute drive away and its just a short drive to Nerja, Torrox Costa, Torre del Mar and all the other fabulous beaches of the Costa del Sol east of Malaga.
For the hikers, you could not choose a better base. There is the fabulous newly built circuit from the river at Archez which you can extend to see the Roman Bridge at Canillas. Lots of fabulous hikes in the hills around Competa and of course you could head to Canillas de Aceituno and the stunning El Saltillo walk.
