Bounded on the north by the town of Portbou and on the south by that of Blanes, the Costa Brava occupy about 214 km of the eastern coast of Spain. Since the thirties its beaches attracted many tourists who cohabited with the fishermen and farmers who cultivated the areas near the coast. With the advent of the tourist economy, the city underwent great changes, to suit the needs of travelers, without losing their authenticity.
Nowadays, villages where time seems to stand still, as Cadaqués and Tossa de Mar, alternate with locations such as Lloret de Mar, where modern hotels and entertainment are the main attractions for young people coming from all Europe.
