"The route of the Black Architecture Guadalajara begins in the wonderful village of Cogolludo, where you can see the ducal palace. The whole area is surrounded by rivers in the east it is bordered by the river Sorbe, in the west and north by the Jarama by Hayedo de Tejera Negra (declared protected area). Along the way you find the picturesque villages of stone houses and slate roofs,a metamorphic rock that is extracted from the ground of the area. Precisely for this peculiarity, the Black Architecture, is waiting to be awarded the UNESCO World Heritage title."
